Founded on a Simple Frustration
Too many scholars lose their work to the labyrinth of modern publishing.
Dhara Publications was founded in 2018 when our founders — then graduate students — spent eighteen months getting a single paper past a UGC-CARE journal. The problem wasn't the research. It was the friction: journal selection, formatting conventions, reviewer interpretation, ISBN bureaucracy. Hours spent on things that had nothing to do with the actual science.
We set out to build an editorial house that takes on all of that work, and does it with the care a manuscript deserves. Seven years and 500+ published papers later, we still treat every submission like it matters — because to the author, it always does.
